Q1. Can I use the USB key via a USB hub?
A1. Yes.
 
Q2. Is the USB key manufactured by Korg?
A2. No. We have adopted the USB key and "eLicenser" system from the Syncrosoft Corporation. As such, it is possible to manage, transfer and maintain licenses for product that also utilizes the Syncrosoft system, and all on a single Syncrosoft USB key. There are a number of companies within the Music Industry that are also using the system, such as Steinberg and IK Multimedia. The instructions for transferring/merging installed licenses from one USB key to another are located here.
 
Q3. Is the KORG USB key compatible with "iLok"?
A3. No, it cannot be utilized with the "iLok" system.
 
Q4. Where can I get the most recent driver for the USB key?
A4. The most recent driver can be downloaded from http://www.elicenser.net/download.
 
Q5. If the USB key is damaged, lost or stolen, what should I do?
A5. The key is a "bearer instrument", as it houses your individual license to the software. As such is should be handled with care. Korg will not be held responsible for damaged, lost or stolen keys. In these events please contact your local Korg distributor. Please note that a fee will be charged to repair or replace the key.
