License authorization version

The product which adopts the method of copy protection where a unique license code is issued to your computer.

Q1	What is the license authorization version?
A1	The product which adopts the method of copy protection where a unique license code is issued to your computer. This is also known as challenge/response.

Q2	Which product is changed to license authorization?
A2	The following products which use USB key copy protection. KORG Legacy Collection / - ANALOG EDITION / - Virtual MS-20 v1.2 or later KORG Legacy Collection - DIGITAL EDITION KORG Legacy Collection - ANALOG EDITION 2007

Q3	What are the downloading/installation procedures?
A3	Please see here. Product Code is required for license authorization.

Q4	Where can I find the Product Code?
A4	The Product Code is affixed to either the CD case or the manual that came with your original package product. When you purchased it at online shop "KORG USER NET SHOP", the product code is included in the e-mail which you received when purchasing this product. If you still cannot find your Product Code, please contact the Korg distributor for your area.

Q5	What is going happen to my USB key?
A5	As announced in November, development and support for the USB copy protected versions of the KORG Legacy Collection series has ended as of April 30th, 2010. You can continue to use your USB key, but support and development will only be provided for the Challenge/Response versions of the KORG Legacy Collection series.

Q6	Can I use USB copy protection version and license authorization version at the same time in one computer?
A6	No. You must choose one method on a given computer.

Q7	Can I do license authorization for multiple computers?
A7	You can install and authorize the software on multiple computers, but you can only utilize the software on one computer at a time.

Q8	I bought a new computer and I've already authorized Legacy on my older computer. How can I perform the license authorization?
A8	If you change the computer on which you use the software, you'll need to obtain a new license code. Log in to "KORG USER NET", click [RE-ISSUE license code], and follow the onscreen directions.
