What is Mono/Poly?

The Mono/Poly is a 4VCO monophonic / polyphonic analog synthesizer that was released in 1981.  The Mono/Poly was simultaneously announced alongside the Korg Polysix. Both models were revolutionary to the synthesizer community in those days.. Many musicians felt that the Mono/Poly was the best synthesizer at the time because it offered an abundance of editable parameters and thus the palette of sounds varied widely,

What kind of synthesis is Mono/Poly for Reason?

The Mono/Poly for Reason utilizes Korg's authentic CMT (Component Modeling Technology) to provide an accurate reproduction of this legendary synthesizer. CMT is used to simulate the electronic components employed in the Mono/Poly circuitry (transistors, capacitors, etc.).

Maximum Polyphony?

There are up to 128 notes of available polyphony (depending on the CPU specifications of the host computer).
