Eight types of master effects that were popular on the ELECTRIBE series are provided. Use the large knob in the center of the top panel to select the desired effect type.
1 | SHORT DELAY |
| | This effect delays the sound in time. This effect type provides a short delay time, and is called a cross feedback delay. It will not synchronize to the tempo.
This adjusts the delay time.
This adjusts the depth of the delay and the amount of feedback.
|
2 | BPM DELAY (BPM sync delay) |
| | This effect delays the sound in time. This effect type is a cross feedback delay that is synchronized to the tempo.
This specifies the tempo-synchronized delay time in units of a note value.
This adjusts the depth of the delay and the amount of feedback.
|
3 | GRAIN SHIFTER |
| | This effect samples a brief length of sound at a fixed interval, and plays it back as a loop.
This specifies the tempo-synchronized sampling rate and sampling time in units of a note value.
This adjusts the balance between the effect sound and the direct sound.
|
4 | REVERB |
| | This effect simulates the reverberation and presence of a hall.
This adjusts the reverb time.
This adjusts the reverb level.
|
5 | CHO/FLG |
| | By slightly delaying the sound to modulate the pitch, and mixing this with the original sound, this effect adds a sense of movement, spaciousness, or vibrato.
This adjusts the LFO speed.
This adjusts the depth of the effect. Turning the knob toward the right will change the effect from chorus to flanger.
|
6 | FILTER |
| | This is a low-pass filter with resonance. It controls the overtones by allowing only a specific frequency region of sound to pass.
This adjusts the cutoff frequency.
This boosts the sound in the region of the cutoff frequency, adding a distinctive character to the sound.
|
7 | TALKING MOD(talking modulator) |
| | This effect adds a vowel formant to the input sound, creating the impression of a human voice.
This adjusts the formant. Turning the knob toward the right will smoothly shift through the vowels [a]-[e]-[o]-[u]-[i].
This adjusts the pitch of the formant frequency.
|
8 | DECIMATOR |
| | By lowering the sampling frequency or bit depth, this effect produces the rough sound that is typical of an inexpensive sampler.
Turning the knob toward the right produces a lo-fi sound with a low sampling frequency. Turning the knob toward the left produces a hi-fi sound with a high sampling frequency.
Turning the knob toward the right produces a lo-fi sound with a lower bit depth. Turning the knob toward the left produces a hi-fi sound with a higher bit depth.
