Audio Export

The iELECTRIBE provides two audio export modes:

  1. Bounce Pattern Export a rhythm pattern as a CD-quality audio file (.wav format)
  2. Real-Time Recording Record real-time full length performances as a CD-quality audio file (.wav format)

You can easily transfer the audio files to your computer via iTunes and use them with your favorite music or video production software! The .wav audio file format is 16bit/44.1kHz/Stereo.


Bounce Pattern

Exports one-shot loop playback of the current pattern as an audio file. In addition to exporting the finished patterns, you can export the patterns with various settings. You can also solo parts and bounce them individually, modulate knobs during the bouncing process, etc. Basically, whatever you hear as a result of settings made to the pattern is what you will hear in the audio file.

  1. Tap the very top of the main panel, or tap the SETTINGS button to open the menu.
  2. Tap the Export button in the menu, located on the upper side of the settings panel.
  3. Tap the Bounce Pattern button. The current pattern will be exported.
  4. You can continue to work with the exported audio files on your computer. Regarding transferring data from the iElectribe to your computer, please read here.

Real-Time Recording

Records your real-time full length performances on your timing and export as audio files. The silence at the beginning of your pattern will be trimmed automatically. Also, the maximum recording time per session is two hours.

  1. Tap the very top of the main panel, or tap the SETTINGS button to open the menu.
  2. Tap the Export button in the menu, located on the upper side of the settings panel.
  3. Tap the Real-Time Recording button. The REC button and the current recording time will be displayed.
  4. Tap the REC button to start recording.
  5. Tap the REC button to stop recording. The content of performance will be exported as an audio file.
  6. You can continue to work with the exported audio files on your computer. Regarding transferring data from the iElectribe to your computer, please read here.


Transfer to Mac/PC

  1. Connect the iPad to your computer via the iPad’s USB cable.
  2. Launch iTunes on your computer.
  3. Select the iPad from the left side menu bar in iTunes.

  4. Select “Apps” on the upper tab.

  5. Scroll down and select the iElectribe in Apps, located below File Sharing.

  6. “iELECTRIBE Documents” will be shown on the right side, and the exported audio file will be shown in the list. Copy the file to your computer using the drag and drop method. Also, you can delete the exported audio files by pressing the delete key on the computer keyboard.

IMPORTANT FOR PC USERS

Please do not delete “.ielectribe.d” folder in iTunes. Your custom pattern data will be deleted. If you deleted the folder by mistake, please read here.
